The president doesn’t currently determine the length of a meeting. The members do. If we want a shorter meeting we need keep our comments to a minimum. If we want a longer meeting, keep talking!

If people really want to shorten the meeting we could go with a hard agenda. By that I mean, if you’re not on the agenda, you don’t bring up a topic. Plus, members would be allowed limited amount of time to comment on a topic.

Another, all be it unpopular idea is to go to a separate non-business meeting. That night is better suited for those who want to be involved but couldn’t give a rat’s resistor about how the club is run. It might also make a good forum to get our club room in order and utilized. Maybe we should call it, “Ops night?”
